Bettels to acquire Bauer Resources' soil treatment center in Bleicherode

Schrobenhausen / Bleicherode, Germany Effective January 1, 2026, the Bettels Group will acquire over the Thuringian soil treatment center in Bleicherode from BAUER Resources GmbH. 

The facility, which processes industrial mineral residues for both regional and supra-regional clients, has an approved annual capacity of 185,000 tons – making it one of the most capable and efficient plants of its kind in eastern Germany.

Ulrich Morgenstern, Head of Waste Management at BAUER Resources, stated: “We are pleased to have found in the Bettels Group a strong partner and a market-leading player in mineral waste management for our high-performance Bleicherode site.”
