Traineeships with future and career opportunities
We train an average of 30 future professionals at Schachtbau each year. Many of our long-term employees started as trainees with SCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH. Our full-time Master Trainers support all trainees in their challenging, high-value professional training in the following fields:
Metalworking & electrical trades:
• Construction mechanics (m/f/d)
• Cutting machine technician (m/f/d)
• Skilled metalworker (m/f/d)
• Electronics engineer for operations technology (m/f/d)
Schachtbau additionally supports traineeships in construction professions:
• Concrete and reinforced concrete builder (m/f/d)
• Carpenter (m/f/d)
• Bricklayer (m/f/d)
• Construction plant operator (m/f/d)
• Specialist foundations engineer (m/f/d)
The theoretical training takes place at our teaching workshop, and is supplemented with practical deployments at our actual workshops and construction sites of SCHACHTBAU Nordhausen GmbH and BAUER Group as a mandatory practical training component.

Based on our training successes and competence, our company has been recognized several times as an "Excellent Training Company" by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

Lukas Lange is training to become a specialist foundation engineer in the BAUER Group. His training workshop is at SCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH. We accompanied him on some of his many site assignments.

Secondary students interested in learning more about traineeships atSCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH have an opportunity to look into the various professions on-site as part of their practical work experience.
We conduct live as well as virtual project days and training events about choosing the right profession, where we introduce our company to secondary students and parents.
