The corrosion protection centre is a large hall on our premises in Nordhausen, especially designed for high quality, safe and environmental friendly coating of steel components of very large dimensions. Single segments with length of 40 m, width of 6.5 m, height of 3.5 m and up to 100 tons weight can be treated there. The process covers the surface preparation by sandblasting and the following coating in several layers applied with different technologies (e.g. high pressure spraying, high temperature spraying, airless spraying). A sophisticated supervision and quality management system guarantees a flawless production and excellent quality.
The corrosion protection centre is mainly used for coating of steel segments manufactured by our Steel Construction and Mechanical Engineering Division and Environmental Technology Division for:
lattice girder bridges
bow-String girder bridges
box girder bridges
bascule bridges
pedestrian bridges
trough bridges
waste water treatment plants
But of course we do all kind of third party contracts for treatment of steel segments needed in steel construction, steel formwork manufacturing, construction machine manufacturing, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction as well as small contracts like steel fences or benches.
